So yeah! Today we’ll be looking at a meme. This time it’s called umm.. I’ll call it keeping his promise or keeping true to your word. In this picture where the caption is “Whatever you do to my daughter, I will do to you”. So in that note, he hugged her daughter so her dad hugged him the same way. So the list goes on.. keep it yourself and your imagination and just keep it that way!
Have fun! Always remember that a picture can tell a thousand words and a thousand meanings!

So yeah! Slow days! Do you ever have that feeling that days are so slow? And sometimes days or hours are so fast? Yeah. That’s right. I know how you feel.
Going back to the first question I made. The days, the hours, and the minutes seems so slow-moving that it’s dragging. And do you know why? I don’t. But I do have an explanation and here it is. The main reason time slows down in your perspective is that it has the element of anticipation, it has the element of looking unto the future, perhaps, but it’s mostly anticipation in my case.
Time slows down for me when there is something I look forward to but it’s on like after 2 or more week. The first week of waiting, my Gosh! I tell you, it’s going to be the longest 7 days, 168 hours, 1,080 minutes of my life! It’s like when you first heard of the plans for a trip or something will arrive to you or for you. Tick tock! Time slows down. The 7 days becomes a constant reminder of your agony waiting for those few days to pass by. Anyway, yes! Anticipation is the cause of misery when time slows down.
While I am ranting how time slows down, there is also a way to speed things up. Do you know how? I know how! It’s stress. Stress makes you old. I look older now than I look before and it’s been only 3 years since I look younger than my age. Right now, I look like a mess. I look old(er). Stress gets you that way like these: deadlines, not sleeping, bills, money problems, irregular sleep schedules of the kid(s) you have, pollution, weather, and a lot more that makes you stress. It will pump your blood with nonsense. Well, not totally nonsense but it makes your fill up with misery that you will eventually
So yeah! I had to have breaks on a Sunday because, here in our house. Sunday’s are family days! We take our time every Sunday to reflect on the week and we go to church. But this Sunday was special, because my wife cooked dinner for us! It’s a “shabu-shabu”. These are some of the pictures that were taken:
Some veggies, I mean one single vegetable is added to our “shabu-shabu”. It’s called “pechay” here cause I forgot what is the english word for it. Anyway, she mixed in crab sticks, crab balls, and urchin balls. Which is soooo good!
We started with this!
1 chicken cubes for 4 glasses of water, minced garlic and sliced onions and extra virgin oil. We try to be healthy. First, you have to saute the garlic to have the garlic-y taste for the soup. Because we love garlic! We like the smell and taste of it.
After the garlic-y has been properly toasted, she added 4 glasses of water with chicken cubes and also the onion slices. The chicken cubes has to be melted through the boiling water. We use an induction cooker by the way if you’re wondering what that “800” is indicating.
After that, it’s the most easiest thing! She just boiled all the ingredients, the balls and the crab meat are sent to a boil until cooked. After it’s cooked, she just put it in the single vegetable, “pechay”, and waited for it to be a little wilted on the boiling water. After all that process, she woke me up and I ate the 2 bowls of it. Yummy and healthy!
Oh by the way, the noodles are colored because it’s a different kinds of vegetable noodles. Carrots, Malunggay, Egg, among others. It’s good, any one of you should try it!
So yeah! Today’s blog is going to be about achievements, successes, accomplishments that I had in my life in the present. And the answer is NO! It’s a big phat no, well yes, I did accomplish “things” in life. But the deep-rooted “WANT” that I really want to achieve has not yet been fully achieved, and that is to be a practicing lawyer, a businessman, and to travel other countries with my family. I am getting older and “wiser” as they say, but that doesn’t change the fact that I haven’t achieved anything that I want in life.
I aspire for bigger things and life, and I can’t stop dreaming, dreaming BIG! is the main thing and I think the main purpose of a person who is living. I think that, the moment you stop dreaming is the time that you ended your “life” and your “existence” is not needed in this life.
It doesn’t mean that you’re dead or anything, it just means that since you don’t have something look forward to then there is no getting excited everyday because you know in yourself that you’re doing this thing that you do for something.
There are things in my life that I had to put on hold because my family needs me. I kept thinking that, since I am young then, I can just go back to chasing my dreams once my family gets settles. I did go back to chasing those dreams and I think that I’m on the right track. The problem is that, I am getting old FAST! I keep thinking to myself that there is always some silver lining to this! It’s taking a big toll on me, not on my family because my classes are at least at nights when my family is resting. I’m out here hustling and trying hard not to fail.
Well, the simple truth is that I know I can still do things! I am not that old but I’m getting to that point but not right now! You know what I mean? I still have time because the real end-goal that I want for myself is to become a legislator in my country. That’s the ultimate dream, yup, I’m no dummy. I have plans and ideas for my country to be great and I just want to be in the mix of things in the government.
That’s it! It’s a start for this kinds of blogs, May I ask anyone of you reading this. What have you done in your life right now that is brag-worthy? What is your ultimate goal?
So yeah! I have been scouring 9gag.com. I think this meme relates too me, I mean I like the Lion King and Bear Grylls! Putting them together is a match made in.. Survival? I think when I do think about the movie Lion King, Simba did survive and he became King when he grew up and with Bear Grylls teaching us how to survive in the wild. It’s a win-win, I guess? I like it. It’s from 9gag.com, okay? Not from me, I don’t have a twisted mind to begin with. But this meme feels good and funny at the same time. Relate to it! I force you! Just kidding. My main logic in this meme, with Mufasa dead it would be a big waste if the “hyenas” ate him. A man needs to eat proteins to survive, Bear Grylls teaches us how to survive in the wild by eating anything and I mean anything! He eats worms and other disgusting things, right? Why not a lion, it’s free and it’s already dead. So why not? And Simba, we all know what happened to him. He won in life! That’s what is important after he beat Scar and the hyenas. So yes, that’s all! I’ll make a better analyzation next meme. 😀
So yeah! I had to think up of a way to schedule my week for the blog. So I was thinking.. I am already on the internet almost the whole day everyday! I am always seeing these things pop out on the videos that I watch! Yes ohhh yes! Memes! Yup, I’m doing meme days now. What I’ll be discussing here are the nature and/or origin of the said meme that I will be posting here on the blog as my featured image. The meme becomes my featured subject for the blog and because memes are not forever, and like water. I go with the flow of trends and ride it. I just ride the tide until the tide is no more. That’s the plan! Mostly. That’s my announcement for today’s blog, I’ll be discussing one meme later on if I could find one. Who am I kidding? There’s always a meme for everyone, and there’s a new meme “invented” everyday! So this is, I think going to be fine. I’m fine! Some comic relief will do anyone good to relieve the stress in life.
